Glaslyn is the oldest Ice Cream Parlour and Pizza Parlour in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. We’re named after the river that flows through the legendary village of Beddgelert in North Wales.
Established in 1970, we’re a local family run business supporting the community and Welsh suppliers through delicious, fresh, handmade quality ice cream and pizza.

Lovely find, the food here was delicious!! Would recommend booking as it gets busy, luckily we were quite early and got a table. Dog friendly inside as well. Gluten free / vegetarian / vegan options available. Pizza was fresh and delicious, lovely taste - chips were fantastic, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Nice selection of local beers/ciders as well. Highly recommended.

We drove through this village on the way to Snowdon and just had to stop on the way back. It's a really picturesque place with a lovely walk along the river and back. One of the stations of the Welsh Highland Railway is here too, so if you time it right you may even be able to watch a steam train getting a water top up. The ice cream at this cafe is absolutely delicious and the sausage roll with red onion and spicy cheese is really really tasty. They also serve a range of food options including freshly made pizza, cakes and sandwiches. If you're passing through then I'd highly recommend planning a stop at this place and having a little walk around the village.

Visited on a Saturday with our large German Shepard and could not have been welcomed in a more friendly way!! When I’m if they were doing whole pizza at lunchtime as they were not on the lunchtime menu they immediately said they would make the pizza for me. So glad we ordered the ham and Brie pizza is was delicious as were the chips. We will be back as enjoyed the atmosphere and food , price was reasonable as well.
